Hammerfest – the world’s northernmost town.
So, Hammerfest – the world’s northernmost town – is one of the most important travel destinations in North Norway. The borough has approx. 9300 inhabitants, and a surface area of about 844 km2. It covers parts of the islands of Sørøya, Kvaløya and Seiland, and since it was awarded city status in 1789, it has been the natural centre of the region. Trade and industry is characterized by fishing, fish processing, the Snøhvit field (LNG), service industries and tourism.

We have been in this nice town only 4 days (08.01. – 11.01.), but we met there a lot of wonderful and loving God people.
In the first day we had an opportunity to visit a youth meeting where three people from our team shared the testimonies and then we have sung some worship songs together. After meeting we had fun time with youth: we played games and spent nice time in conversation. On Saturday we had some time when we hanged out with youth in cafe. I am so inspired by time we had together!!!
Also on Saturday two people from our team had opportunity to share the testimonies on church meeting. And on Sunday we have lead family meeting, where we have shown our program with dramas, explanations, testimonies and of course games.
It was really nice place with really nice people. And all of us felt a pity when we left this city…
