Honningsvag
Almost after meeting in Hammerfest we left to Honningsvag. After some interesting experiences through tunnels under sea and door that closed behind us when we went in… a bit scary the first time, but we did it.
In Honningsvag Kyung Ok was already waiting for us with sunny welcome from Tone. We all got our OWN rooms! And we needed to get ready for the next meeting. Here we did the drama “Chair” and then had time with the kids..jpg)

On Monday (12.01) we had day off…that felt so good after all those meetings and traveling. But anyway we had to do some preparing for Tuesday. We could have the teaching at the 10th grade the next morning at 9 AM. So, Andrei had prepared a great teaching about how it is to be a Christian in Russia/ Belarus and off course we had some testimonies.
Wednesday starts like “Arctic Adventure”… Tone was knocking on the doors waking us up, telling us we had to be ready in 10 min! But the rest of the day was 1 big blessing for us! We could go to the North Cape together with the tourist bus and the weather was so good for the first time in a month! The trip was sooooooooooo… beautiful!!! At the North Cape we had a little prayer meeting, because the wind was a bit colder and stronger than we thought. And then we had a little tourist moment in the store, coffecorner and the movie! It was an amazing experience!.jpg)

That evening we had a prayer meeting in church. Here in Honningsvag they started three weeks of “Divine Experiment”. So, this week we have been a part of prayer meetings also.
On Thursday (15.01.) we had a day at school in the 8th grade again. The teacher asked us to teach about “the Bible”… and NO evangelism stuff! We taught 2x2 hours. Andrei told some facts about the Bible and then we had two testimonies about how God still lives today, about healing. Tone had given us Norwegian youthbibles, we could give then. We gave them all a biblestory to read and then they had to act it out, like it happened today. In the end we told them, they could keep the Bible… they were very happy about it!.jpg)
On Saturday (17.01.) evening we decided to have a party for the youth and it should to be grand: chips, saft, soda, movies, LIGRETTO, 50 youth, conversation and plenty of fun! David made posters and boys hanged them around town... The evening came, but not the youth:) We just have not guessed, that whole town was in full swing of the parties this evening …
On Sunday we had day off again. And Kyung Ok invited us for dinner where we also had good time of conversation. In the evening time we got a wonderful opportunity to visit an art museum of Eva Schmutterer (www.evart.no).
And on the next morning we have moved further… Karasjok…
